4oD

You are not required to uninstall the 4od desktop application, however, if your familar with a windows PC's and want to remove the 4od application follow these instructions:

PLEASE NOTE: If you have any "download to own" content on your PC, DO NOT uninstall 4oD.

Please ensure you have deleted all programmes previously downloaded (these can be found in "My Downloads").

XP Users:

Click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

4oD should be listed near the top. Click the Remove button and follow the steps to uninstall 4oD.

If you experience problems uninstalling then please follow the steps:

Please be aware that the following steps involve removing 'Kontiki'. Removing 'Kontiki' may affect the installation of other similar programmes such as BBC iPlayer and SKY Anytime.

1. Go to Start > Run...

2. Type the following into the Run dialog: 'cmd'.

3. Click 'Ok'

4. Highlight all of the line below, right click on it and choose Copy.

"C:\Program Files\Kontiki\KHost.exe" -u -p 4od1

5. Right click in the black Command Prompt Window and choose Paste, then hit the Enter/Return button

6. Wait for the prompt to reappear

7. Attempt to uninstall 4oD again. Click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

8. Check that the application has been removed.

Vista Users:

1. Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.

2. Select 4oD, and then click Uninstall.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
